About Me

Where it all started-

Growing up on a huge Christmas tree farm outside of Portland Oregon, I learned all about hard work at a young age. I was the middle child of 5 girls and we were all adopted ( I don’t know how my parents survived). On top daily farm activities, I was always playing one sport or another. I played basketball, volleyball, softball and ran track competitively for most of my life.  When I went to College, I was focused on academics and no longer had sports as an outlet. This is when I found the gym and fell in love with competing against who/where I was yesterday and pushing myself to get better. It didn’t take me long to realize that I wanted to a pursue a career in this area.

How I got here-

After college, I met my husband (at the gym) and he introduced me to the world of bodybuilding.. It gave me the direction that I needed to take my fitness to the next level and teach me consistency and discipline.

Although bodybuilding was a great start, it got old really quick and wasn’t sustainable. My weight was fluctuating, I was no longer excited about working out, nor could I even think about chicken, tilapia, brown rice or broccoli without gagging. I had pushed myself too far which lead me on a journey of making fitness fun again. I became obsessed with seeing what else I could accomplish with my own body and mind as well as be able to better serve others who were following my journey. I evolved into power lifting, then yoga, long distance running, crossfit, calisthenics and now functional training.

My body and mind have accomplished some pretty incredible achievements over the years, but for a lot of those years, I struggled with balance and sustainability which is how my hybrid training came about. I developed a program that was a combination of all of the different modalities that I have experienced over the years, taking pieces from each one and finding a healthy balance with continuous growth. I have been using my hybrid coaching techniques with men and women all over the world for the past 7 years and have been able to help individuals from all different walks of life take their lives to the next level through taking their mind and body to the next level using  optimal fitness and nutrition techniques.

My Philosophy

I believe that in order to achieve anything in life, it takes discipline and consistent forward motion. I don’t believe in fad diets or quick fixes that cannot be sustained long term. I practice and teach sustainable lifestyle habit changes, flexible, whole food nutrition with balanced macro and micro nutrients to achieve optimal, maintainable results and maintainable fitness routines.

“The best diet is the one that you don’t know that you’re on”
